Small Animal Field Day 2005

Small Animal Field Day (from March newsletter)

By Paige Scheving

March 5 was Small Animal Field Day. The cavies and rabbit groups went with their leader, Dawn. The theme was Your Pet on Vacation. We had worked on putting together boards to display, and used vacation-y toys for decoration, and put together a little test. There was a photo contest, which Sadie and I were in, and a raffle for toys and other objects. There was also an animal dress-up contest for poultry, rabbits, cavies and others. Snowball was a wizard on vacation and won most original, and Allison’s fisherman guinea pig also won. We had a lot of fun at Small Animal Field Day.
