Newark Days 2004Bayside stands strong like the Post Office at Newark Days! (from October newsletter)By Dawn Olson Well, heavy Rain did not stop Bayside from setting up at Newark Days and greeting the public. The day ended up being bright and sunny, but this was after 2 hours of downpours. I think the club owes a big round of thanks to Heidi, Chuck and Celia Ontiveros for taking a bad weather day, and making it a fun event. Our booth did get many interested individuals, especially during the downpours, and hopefully they will be in attendance at our next Meeting. So another great year for 4-H at the Newark Day event! Bayside 4-H Club will again have an informational display during Newark Days, September 19th. We’re looking for members & parents to help with this booth. Times will be posted at the Community Club meeting so please sign up if you are able to help. This is your chance to show off what you do & learn in 4-H to recruit new members. Come out and have some fun with us.
